I make them for my kids without the protein powders (and sometimes with - depending on what they&#039;re eating that day and their activities that day), though sometimes with milk or soy milk instead.  As for how many times a day, it really depends on which shake recipe you use and what the rest of your diet is like.  If you&#039;ve got a good well balanced diet and you&#039;re not training heavily, there isn&#039;t really a &#039;need&#039; to have your food as a protein shake - its just sometimes convenient or sometimes a tasty treat instead of junk food.&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>
