Workout for Beginners..?

I started working out about a month ago, I wanted to lose some weight too. but my weight has increased instead. I weight about 180 now compare to 170 a couple of weeks ago.
I’m taking elite 12 hour whey protein every morning and workout 4 days a week. can anyone give me some pointers of how to diet and gain muscle at the same time..thanks

You are on the right path as far as focusing on your nutrition:) Always, consume ample amounts pf carbs, proteins, and GOOD fats. Also make sure you are consuming a high quality chemical free whey protein minus the fillers and additives.
