Can I uses 2% reduced fat milk mix with whey protein powder?
I brought a gallon of 2% reduced fat milk and I don’t want to waste it. So is it ok to use 2% reduced fat milk with whey protein powder. I heard a lot of people say, it will be best if you uses skim milk or non fat milk.
I love 2% milk with an all natural chemical free whey protein. I prefer the 2%, as it is not as watery:) You will be fine.
How much is one scoop of whey protein powder?
I just bought ON 100% Whey Protein yesterday. The label says to take "one scoop" per serving. I’m not sure how much exactly one scoop is. The jar didn’t include a scoop either. I dug deep into the jar and even poured out all the powder. Still nothing. I would highly appreciate if I can get some reasonable answers. Thank you.
Thanks. But what would that one scoop be equal to? How many tablespoons/teaspoons?
If you are using a tablespoon, use two tablespoons:) Also, make sure you are consuming a high quality chemical free whey protein minus the fillers and additives.
how much whey protein powder should I have after my workout?
I weigh 230lbs, and am starting to take some whey protein drink to help built muscles and lose weight. How much should I consume daily?
Most people in the fitness community will tell you to consume between 1/2 to 1 gram of protein for each pound of lean body mass (your weight minus your fat) per day. I average about 3/4 and I train almost daily. If you’re body building (and it doesn’t sound like you are), some people take as much as 2g/lb per day.
For an after-workout shake, I’d recommend 25–40 grams. I usually take about 30 grams. My lean body mass is about 150 lbs.
By the way, I recommend you check out the Zone Diet, which I have found to be very effective at building muscle and losing fat when coupled with regular exercise.
