PostHeaderIcon How much Whey protein should I take?

I’m currently 17 years old, 5′8", and about 150-155 lbs. I work out usually 2-3 times a week, and I hear various occasions to take my Whey protein. I’ve heard to take it after I workout, an hour before I work out, when I wake up in the morning, before I go to bed. When should i be taking it??

1.0-1.5g of protein per body weight so 155-233g of protein all divided into 5 small meals throughout the day. Whey should be taken after your workout and 30min before bed to feed the body through your sleep to keep it in anabolic state, the state where muscles grow. People take it in the morning to help bring the body out of the catabolic state where muscles are eaten away for energy but you can eat some egg whites and oatmeal if you like.

Is it better to take whey protein before or after the workout? How long before or after?

Always consume a pre workout shake about 45minutes to an hour before. For a post workout shake consume immediately after. Get those nutrients into the muscles

PostHeaderIcon how long should I wait after I have taken liquid aminos to take whey protein?

For those who doesn’t know and want to earn some points here by answering me nothing (u know who I mean here) amino acids and whey protein powders are food suplements and they are not used to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

From what I gather…, liquid aminos is just a complete amino acid in liquid from…, (if it is actually something else…, see a doctor) but anyways…, it doesn’t matter when you take it…, both the same thing…, the only thing I would do is take it within one hour of working out…
